Letting Agreement for Your Holiday Home

A  user-friendly Letting Agreement...

We ask our Connect Rentals Owners to sign a simple and user-friendly Letting Agreement, which sets out each of our obligations and details of the financial agreement between us.

Although we prefer to be the ‘sole agent’ we understand that as an owner you may sign up with other agents and also rent out your holiday home yourselves so therefore it is ESSENTIAL –you MUST inform us by email as soon as there is a confirmed booking. This is the ONLY way to avoid the risk of double-bookings which would be a huge disappointment to our clients plus possibly damaging our reputation.

No restrictions on the length of your own holiday...

Unlike many of our competitors, we place no restrictions on the number of Homeowner Weeks booked between October and April however we ask that there is a four week limit between May and  September. All we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible of the dates on which you’d like to use your property, so we can mark it as unavailable for letting on our booking system.

Duty of care ……

Letting out your property means you have a duty of care to visitors whose health, safety and welfare is essential. Sppain has their own rules and regulations with regard to use of electric equipment, gas safety regulations and rules regarding disability discrimination. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure our holiday homes meet these standards.

Make sure you’re covered...

In addition, the provision of suitable insurance cover for your holiday property is paramount. It is a specific requirement of our Letting Agreement that you insure the property and its contents to their full value, and notify your insurance company that it is let for holiday use. We also ask that you have Public Liability insurance cover of no less than £2 million, or not less than £5 million for a property with an occupancy of eight or more people.
