Book your summer villa holiday early

With temperatures plunging to sub zero and the January sales in full swing, now’s the time to book your 2010 summer villa holiday!

The unprecedented cold spell and snowy conditions in the UK will more than likely encourage early bookings for summer sun holidays 2010, as consumers hanker after some summer sun and the UK’s major tour operators, including TUI, First Choice, Thomas Cook and Virgin, battle to gain the upper hand on the best package holiday deal.

If you prefer organising your own holiday, now is also the time for independent-minded travellers to secure the best deals on self-catering holiday in Spain too, with many early bookers pouncing on great-value villa holidays and booking their flights and car hire in advance before the summer rush begins.

And, there are certainly deals to be had, with a standard 3 bed villa with pool on a Polaris World Resort in Murcia, Spain costing approximately £200-300 less than a similar property in some of Spain’s’ most popular tourist spots including the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Costa Brava. Murcia, it seems, has much more to offer as a short haul destination for price conscious holidaymakers.
