ZEIC: a bridge between China and Spain

The Chinese company ZEIC (Special Investment Zone Chinese) have announced their proposal to build a centre that will create a ‘bridge between Chine and Spain’ in Lorca, Murcia, Spain.

The centre will comprise of eight themed areas covering three million square meters of land, near Lorca, which will include a five star hotel, business and education centers, restaurants, apartments, a shopping complex, golf course and much, much more. With a proposed build start date of 2011, this huge new venue could be completed as early as 2014.  

The go-ahead for the ZEIC project has not yet been confirmed, but with the new Corvera International Airport due to open next year and exciting plans to build a new Paramount Pictures theme park in the region, Murcia is certainly looking attractive to investors and is set to become a top tourist and cultural destination in Spain, Europe.  

This could potentially be fantastic news for the future of holiday rentals in Murcia as well as villa and apartment owners in Murcia, as the new attractions will see an increasing number of tourists flocking to the area.
