El Valle Golf Resort in Murcia is to hold the European Tour Second Qualifying Stage between the 26th & 29th November 2010.

This is the second prestigious golf tournament to be held by a Polaris World Resort in Murcia this year after the success of Hacienda Riquelme's 65th Campeonata de Espana de Professionals del Golf.

Started in 1976, The European Tour Qualifying School was originally held at Foxhills and Walton Heath. The winner was David A Russell and Sweden's Magnus Persson was the youngest player to gain a card at the Qualifying School, aged 17 years and 116 days in 1982.

With more and more high profile golf tournaments coming to the Spanish region, Murcia is proofing to be a superb location for year-round golf holidays as well as the perfect destination for affordable villa rentals in Spain.
