Paramount Pictures, Murcia latest news
La Verdad, Murcia’s regional newspaper, has announced further developments regarding the new Paramount Pictures theme park which is due to begin construction this year.
With a new draft layout of the park now available, the plans indicate that the new theme park will include four hotels built around a 36.5 hectare theme park, in addition to an aquatic park constructed on 10 hectares of land. The proposed size is similar to the Disneyland theme park in Paris.
These plans have not yet been finalised, but the final approved project is expected to be released within the next month. The finalised plans may well coincide with the visit of Paramount Picture’s Executive Vice President of Licensing, Michael Bartok.
Murcia villa owners will benefit from extra bookings with an expected 4.5 extra visitors a year, not only giving a boost for Murcia’s tourism trade but boosting UK villa owners’ trade.
