Connect Rentals is a professional company and therefore require all clients to register and pay an annual fee, per property, depending on the type of rental package selected.

Connect Rentals undertake to comply with the property owner’s requests in dealing with their property.

Connect Rentals promise to give as accurate a description of the property/area to the rental clients in order to reduce complaints about misinformation.

Connect Rentals will not put tenants in the properties if specified not to do so by the owner.

Connect Rentals will honour clients' own visits and booking dates if sufficient notice is given to avoid double bookings.

Connect Rentals is not liable for the overall maintenance of the property, as this is the owner’s responsibility. Any rental packages undertaken are for the marketing of each said property only, and for dealing with customer administration arising from these bookings. All other services such as cleaning, laundry, maintenance, key holding, organising welcome packs, hiring cots and highchairs are additional services.

Connect Rentals promise that where cleaning/laundry services are undertaken the clients' property will be cleaned/laundered to the highest standard. If the client takes on this service themselves, all cleaning and laundered items will be subject to satisfactory inspection by Connect Rentals staff.

Connect Rentals operate an 11a.m. check out and 16.00 check in on days of arrival and departure, to allow for cleaning and preparation. However, in quieter months or on special request from the customer, Connect Rentals may be happy to negotiate later check in/out times to accommodate clients if the accommodation is vacant on days of arrival or departure.

Connect Rentals ask clients, where possible, to comply with their list of necessities for ‘getting you started.

In order for Connect Rentals to work with any property, the client agrees to ensure his or her property has/completes the following safety equipment/checks:
1. Public liability insurance for the property.
2. A fire alarm.
3. A basic first aid kit.
4. A fire blanket or small fir extinguisher.
4. Performs an annual boiler safety check with a registered technician.

Connect Rentals will notify the client of any incoming clients and the rental agreed.

Connect Rentals require permission at the start of the contract to accommodate ‘Last-minute bookings’ (sometimes booking the day before and not enough time to let the owner know beforehand) These are usually discounted because they are ‘fill ins’ when the property is vacant and are optional to the owner.

Connect Rentals does not guarantee your property will be occupied all year round; however your property should be full during the summer season. In order to potentially rent your property for up

to 75% of the year, Connect Rentals recommends you advertise your property with at least 3 different holiday rental websites, as well as commission a bespoke website, where your customers can view unlimited photography and information.

Connect Rentals require at least four sets of keys, one set for us, one set for the preparation team and two sets for clients who may wish to ‘go their own ways.’

Connect Rentals can also display a sign reminding owners and tenants to keep the iron doors (ragas) locked while in the garden etc. and to securely lock all windows, doors and ragas when going out (if required by owner).

Connect Rentals can supply ‘No smoking’ signs for the bedrooms or whole apartment for those clients wanting this to be their policy.

Connect Rentals and/or the owner of the property reserve the right to terminate this contract with the owner of a property and/or Connect Rentals if deemed necessary because of unreasonable demands, unreasonable differences or disrespect. This is for the good of both parties. One month’s notice needs to given by either party, in writing, and all outstanding monies will be paid.

Connect Rentals yearly service fee does not include handling keys or meeting clients for owners OWN bookings as we take no commission on these. We can however offer a ‘meet and greet’ service for a small fee. 

Connect Rentals, while endeavouring to find suitable tenants, will not be held responsible for theft or breakages of clients' belongings. In the property owners' interest, a minimum security deposit of £150 per week will be taken for every booking (fully refundable providing there is no damage) and a formal rental agreement will be signed.

Connect Rentals bank clients' money as a matter of courtesy and not obligation, so please be patient with this matter as it can be time consuming when owners all use different banks, especially in the busy periods.
