Mar Menor Golf Resort is a self-contained 'gated' resort with Mediterranean-style villas, townhouses and apartments. The resort offers the beautiful 5 star Intercontinental Hotel & Spa, along with a 9-hole golf course, leisure centre, communal swimming pool with kids’ pool and Jacuzzi area, tree-lined avenues and landscaped gardens, restaurants, bars, a snack bar, a small but well-stocked supermarket (selling international goods) tennis court, gym, cash point and health centre. The resort also offers 24-hour security and friendly English-speaking staff.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the villa per week in UK pounds. Prices are subject to change at the owner’s discretion.
Changeover day
Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure.
Booking notes
£100 deposit, per week is required to hold the villa with heated pool. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. For all booking made outside of the UK, an additional £15 bank transfer fee will be charged. For all bookings less than seven days a cleaning charge of £60 applies. If you require the villa swimming pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £50 per week or £75 for two weeks.
Security deposit
In addition, a separate £200 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.
Please note: Mar Menor is a 9-hole golf resort which is currently being extended to an 18-hole golf resort with additional apartments, there is some building work outside the resort perimeter.
The local area, Murcia, offers plenty of activities for villa holidays. The sandy beaches are ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other activities included cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. Mar Menor's sandy beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

20 minute drive from La Manga Strip.
Approx. 1 hour drive to Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm and many other waterparks in the Alicante area including Aqualandia.
Approx. 20 minute drive from Torrevieja Aquopolis (waterpark open between 8 June to 31 August).
Golfing holidays
Guests have access to the resort's 9-hole golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many othercourses in the area including La Torre Golf Resorts (18-hole), El Valle Golf Resort (18-hole), Mosa Trajectum, Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 20 minutes' drive.
