A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £15 each a week.

A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be organised for just £15 and includes: bread, 1 milk, some sachets of tea, coffee and sugar, 1 orange juice, 2 bottles of mineral water, butter, jam or marmalade and a bottle of wine (red or white).

Accessibility
This property is situated across one level making it ideal for guest with walking difficulties. The only stairs are outside and lead to the upper level solarium. There is a lockable gate for the solarium/front door area. Outside There are two outside terraces/solariums in total with a grassy garden area and fence. Guests have their own private pool and well as access to a large communal pool 2 minutes’ walk away. Guests can use any of the resorts 12 communal pools. There are also many children’s play areas available for use as well as free tennis courts.

Additional details
La Torre Golf Resort is a self-contained 'gated' resort with Mediterranean-style, whitewashed villas, townhouses and apartments. Built around a town centre and attractive lake, the resort offers a 5 star Intercontinental La Torre Golf Resort Hotel & Spa (under construction), along with an 18-hole golf course, 12 communal swimming pools, tree-lined avenues and landscaped gardens, three bars including a golf bar/snack bar, sports bar and Irish bar, an ice-cream parlour as well as five restaurants (Tapas, Spanish, Italian international fusion and international buffet). The resort also has a bank, travel shop, internet access, a large, well-stocked supermarket (selling international goods), health centre, a hospital, playgrounds and school. The resort also offers 24-hour security and friendly English-speaking staff.

Changeover day
Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Weekend to weekend bookings are preferred.

Booking notes
£100 deposit (non refundable) per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. An additional cleaning/laundry fee of £65 applies to all bookings. Weekend golf breaks are welcome. Any bookings taken outside the UK are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee. Bookings made over the Christmas and New Year period are £300 a week. Please note: air conditioning is being installed in each bedroom, please ask for details. The pool will also be heated for autumn and winter lets 2008.

Security deposit
In addition, a separate £150 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.

Local area
The local area, Murcia, offers plenty of activities for holidays, especially golfing holidays. The sandy beaches are also ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other activities include golf, tennis, cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. Mar Menor's sandy beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

Beaches and waterparks
20 minutes' drive from the beach at Los Alcazares.
30 minutes' drive from La Manga Strip.
Approx. 1 hours' drive to Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm and many other waterparks in the Alicante area including Aqualandia.
Approx. 30 minutes' drive from Torrevieja Aquopolis (waterpark open between 8 June to 31 August).

Golfing holidays
Guests have access to the resort's 18-hole par 68 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many other courses in the area including Mar Menor, el Valle, Mosa Trajectum, Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 20 minutes' drive. Guests staying at the apartment can benefit from a temporary residents’ discount on all Polaris golf course, please ask for details.

20 minute drive from Murcia city, which offers fantastic nightlife, shopping and restaurants.
40 minute drive to Cartegena with wonderful historic sites, dining and shopping opportunities.
10 minute drive from Mar Menor/Los Alcazares (beach) which also offers many tapas bars, restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets.
Approx. 2 hour drive to Granada and the Alhambra Palace.

Approx. 3.5 hour drive to Madrid.
Approx. 45-50 minute drive to Alicante, well know for it's popular water and theme parks.
Approx. 40 minute drive to Terra Natura, Murcia's zoo and waterpark.
A local shopping complex called 'Dos Mares' with an enormous supermarket, many restaurants and a cinema is 20-minute drive away.
