Resort details

The exclusive golf resort Mosa Trajectum lies at the foot of the Murcian hills and at the borders of a UNESCO owned Nature Reserve. Hiking, biking, horse riding ,mountain biking, tennis and paddle tennis are are all on offer locally Mosa Trajectum is situated only 10 km from Murcia and 85 km south of Alicante and is a short 15 minutes drive to the beaches of the Costa Calida and the Mar Menor. The heart of Mosa Trajectum is Parador a 300 year old Spanish farm which has been rebuilt into a hotel and restaurant. There is also a small chapel. In the near future the resort will be expanded with commercial zones, containing a wealth of shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants, a medical centre and a sport resort. Just outside the resort you will find two typical Spanish restaurants where you can also buy fresh produce (bread, meat, fruit, vegetables).

Mosa Trajectum has an 27 hole championship course (Stone, Olive and Pine Course) as well as a par 3 Challenge Course. The championship course runs through the resort, through a spectacular and challenging landscape with a variety of plants and trees, cacti, open rock faces and a multitude of water features. 

Local area

The local area offers plenty of activities for holidaymakers looking to rent holiday apartments in Murcia or villas with pools, especially those looking for golfing holidays in Spain. The sandy beaches of the Costa Calida are also ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other holiday activities include golf, tennis, cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. The sandy beaches ofMurcia’s Mar Menor are also ideal for family villa holidays as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade at Los Alcazares or San Javier. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

Murcia offers many wonderful golf apartments and villas with pools for summer holidays, so if you like to spend a few days in the sun by the pool and a day or so exploring the beautiful Costa Calida in Spain, here are a few ideas:

20 minutes' drive from the region’s capital Murcia City, which offers fantastic nightlife, shopping malls and restaurants. 20 minutes' drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor, Los Alcazares and San Javier, which also offer many tapas bars, restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets. Approx. 40 mins drive from the famous La Manga Hotel and Golf Resort. Approx. 2 hours' drive to Andalucia’s Granada and the incredible Alhambra Palace. Approx. 3.5 hours' drive to Madrid. Approx. 45-50 minutes' drive to Alicante on the Costa Blanca,well know for it's popular waterparks and theme parks. A local shopping complex called 'Dos Mares' with an enormous supermarket, many restaurants and a cinema is 20-minute drive away. Approx. 30-40 mins drive to the historic port city of Cartagena and it’s superb shopping complex with cinema and food mall. 

Activities

Murcia is perfect for sports as well as golfing holidays and guests have access to the resort's 18-hole par 68 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many other courses in the area including Polaris World’s Mar Menor Golf Resort, El Valle Golf Resort, Mosa Trajectum Golf Resort, Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 20 minutes' drive.

Notes on prices

A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £20 each a week. Additional children's accessories such as stair gates and car seats are also available to hire on request.  A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be arranged on request, please ask for details. There is no additional clean charge with the weekly price, however if a cleaner is required during your stay this can be arranged and is payable locally. Please note: towels are for villa use only, guests should bring their own beach towels. Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. £100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival.  Weekend and shorter golf breaks are welcome at an agreed nightly nightly rate (depending on season) plus a standard cleaning fee. These may not be available during the busy summer season and are limited to 2 – 4 night stays.

Booking notes

Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout can be requested at an additional charge but is subject to availability.  

No single sex groups under 21 are allowed. All non UK bookings are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.

Wrist bands for communal pools and tennis courts: Please note, resort management have issued a wrist band per guest that must be worn to use the communal pools and tennis courts.  If lost or misplaced a 30 Euro replacement fee per wrist band is payable locally. This is to prevent non resort residents using the communal pools and tennis courts.
