Villa kitchen The modern kitchen is fully furnished with hob (four electric rings), oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, juicer, crockery, glassware and cutlery for six people. Villa lounge The open plan lounge/dining room has a cosy fireplace/log burner two leather sofas, one dining table with six chairs, satellite TV, VCR, CD/radio. Patio doors lead to terrace and garden. Lovely views of the surrounding woodland and area can be seen from the terrace. The property has a mobile air-conditioning unit and electric wall-mounted heaters and log fire for cooler months. Towels and linen are included. If a cleaner is required during your stay, this will be an extra charge of £75 for each property. Please note: towels are for villa use only, guests should bring there own beach towels. Local area

This villa is located between the medieval town of Pals and its beach at Pals Platja in the Girona region of Northern Spain. A superb area for forest walks, guests can enjoy the relatively easy walking through the woodland, swim in the blue Mediterranean Sea only five minutes’ drive away or simply relax on the large terrace and take in the magnificent views across the rolling hills to the Pyrenees Mountains and stunning sunsets to the west. Guests can also sample the many local towns and villages, their markets and churches and interesting restaurants serving mouth watering Catalan food.

2 minute drive to local supermarket ) or 20-30 minute hill walk. 5 minute drive to Las Pals beach with a variety of restaurants and bars (approximately 12). 10 minutes to Palafrugell the largest of the local towns (has a local bus station also) 10 minutes’ drive to L'Estartit a lively seaside resort with a marina, beach, watersports and nightlife. 30 minutes drive to Figueras the home of Salvador Dali. 50 minutes’ drive from the city of Girona. 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive is Barcelona with an enormous variety of art galleries, museums, shops bars and restaurants. 30 minutes’ drive from French border. Perpignan is an easy day trip. 2 hours’ drive to Andorra and the Pyrenees. The town of Slaca has the nearest train station.

Activities

Golf Guests have access to a delightful 18-hole golf course at Platja de Pals. A pine tree-lined masterpiece hugging the Pals Platja beach. The Spanish open has been held here in the past. Beaches 5 minutes' drive from the beach at Pals (30-45 minutes’ relaxing walk through woodland). The local beach offers soft golden sand and provides many including water sports including sailing, kite boarding and swimming.

Notes on prices

Prices are for VILLA AND APARTMENT, please ask for individual pricing for smaller groups.  The owner is currently having a pool built at the property which should be completed early spring 2012.

Booking notes

Booking notes: £100 deposit, per property, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. Short breaks (3-4 nights) are welcome, we can rent the villa only from just £80 a night, plus a standard cleaning fee. Christmas and New Year weeks at the villa are £550. An additional charge of £40 per week is required to heat the hot tub. All villa bookings are subject to a £75 arrival/departure cleaning fee. All apartment bookings are subject to a £65 arrival/departure cleaning fee. Both properties booked together are subject to a £100 arrival/departure cleaning fee. All bookings made from outside the UK will be subject to a £25 transfer fee. Changeover day: check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 10am on the day of departure.

Security deposit

In addition, a separate £200 security deposit per property is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay. Both properties booked together are subject to a £350 damages/security deposit.
