Situated just 40 minutes' drive from Murcia airport and 15 minutes from the popular beach town of Mazarron, the villa is also only 20 minutes’ drive from cosmopolitan Murcia city.

Resort details

The villa is located in the Golf Resort of Hacienda Del Alamo, endorsed by Peter Aliss and Miguel Jimenez and is tipped to host a European tour event in the very near future. The resort benefits from a rural setting surrounded by mountains and a 7,400 yard Championship Golf Course designed by Dave Thomas, this course will test every golfers’ skills.

There is a golf academy course, two-tiered driving range, pro shop and practice area. The resorts unique Spanish Village opens beginning of 2008 and will offer 47 units including tapas bars, traditional Spanish/International bars/restaurants and shops. The resort has many operational and planned sports activities including cycling, horse riding, tennis courts and children's play areas.

The local Spanish town of Fuente Alamo is 5 minutes' drive away and offers an attractive church and plaza area, as well as a host of Spanish bars and restaurants (including Chinese and pizzeria). There is also a large supermarket (Mercadona), ATM machines and a local newsagents selling English newspapers, as well as a variety of shops including a bakery, sports shop, gift shops and pharmacy.

The region is renowned for its year round amazing climate and spectacular scenery.?The nearby Mar Menor, unique for its warm waters and watersports combined with the bustling Spanish city of Murcia, offers a unique location to suit all holidaymakers.??

The beaches of Mar Menor, Mazarron and Bolneuvo are 20-30 minutes away and offer warm waters and safe bathing. The region offers hiking, walking and mountain bike adventures in the nearby Sierra Espuna National Park.

The thriving city of Murcia offers fantastic shopping and all have easy access from the resort. The city is traditionally Spanish and now offers the opportunity of watching La Liga football at the La Nueva Condomina.?Barcelona, Real Madrid and Sevilla will be visiting to play FC Real Murcia in the 2007-2008 season.

The local area, Murcia, offers plenty of activities for holidays, especially golfing holidays. The sandy beaches are also ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other activities include golf, tennis, cycling, rollerblading and horse riding.

Mar Menor's sandy beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

La Manga Golf Resort is also approx. 30-35 minutes' drive. Guests staying at the apartment can benefit from a temporary residents’ discount on all Polaris golf course, please ask for details.

Notes on prices

A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £20 each a week. Additional children's accessories such as stair gates and car seats are also available to hire on request.    A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be arranged on request, please ask for details. All bookings are subject to a £75 cleaning/laundry fee. Towels and linen are included. If a cleaner is required during your stay this can be arranged and is payable locally. Please note: towels are for villa use only, guests should bring their own beach towels. 

Booking notes

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. £100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival.  Weekend and shorter golf breaks are welcome at our nightly rate (depending on season) plus a standard cleaning fee. These may not be available during the busy summer season and are limited to 2 – 4 night stays. This is a strictly non-smoking villa. Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout can be requested at an additional charge but is subject to availability.  No single sex groups under 21 are allowed. All non UK bookings are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.

Security deposit

In addition, a separate £200 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.  Please note: Connect Rentals can act only as a rental agent for the owner of this property
