Hacienda Riquelme is spread around a stunning, championship quality, par 72, 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and covering 175 acres.
The resort has 24-hour security for that extra peace of mind. The low construction density allows for vast expanses of open land with fairways, greens, gardens and lakes all of which add to the atmosphere of luxury and tranquillity. This superb development offers many communal pools, children's playgrounds, a golf clubhouse, on-site bar and supermarket and is just 5 minutes' drive from the traditional Spanish village of Sucina, which offers many other facilities, including shops, bars and restaurants
The golf club offers a driving range, putting and chipping greens and a fully stocked golf shop. The Nicklaus Golf Trail, is a circuit which will offer 9 courses within a radius of 25km. Four courses are already up and running (Hacienda Riquelme, La Torre, El Valle and Mar Menor) and each course offers a different character and level of play.
Hacienda Riquelme is on the site of one of the most important country estates in Murcia and is nestled just below the Columbard Mountain Range which provides a wonderful backdrop to the Golf Course. The resort has been built around the original beautiful Spanish Hacienda (country home), which is currently being renovated and will become the Commercial Centre and manages to conserve the charm and roman of the past with the luxury of the most modern of comforts.
The area is surrounded by citrus groves and beautiful rolling countryside, yet enjoys easy access to beaches, airports and the historic city of Murcia. Within a few minutes’ drive, you will be in the heart of several small countryside villages, all typically Spanish and offering a very different way of life to the stressful towns and cities that most of us are used to.

The local area, Murcia, offers plenty of activities for holidays, especially golfing holidays. The sandy, blue flag beaches are also ideal for water sports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other activities include golf, tennis, cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. Mar Menor's sandy beach is also ideal for families as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking is also popular along the beach promenade. There are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

Notes on prices
Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. Bookings over the Christmas and New Year period are £200 per week. Bookings made from countries outside the UK are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.
A £55 cleaning and laundry fee applies to all bookings. Weekend golf break and shorter stays are welcome at £60 a night, plus a standard cleaning fee.
A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £20 a week each.
A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be organised for just £20 and includes: bread, 1 milk, some sachets of tea, coffee and sugar, 1 orange juice, 2 bottles of mineral water, butter, jam or marmalade and a bottle of wine (red or white).
Booking notes
Booking notes: £100 deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival.
This is a non-smoking property.
Changeover day: check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure.
Security deposit
Security deposit: in addition, a separate £150 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.
