Quiet residential area, with wide walking areas and playground for children. Nearby there is a bank, post office, market, butcher shop, supermarket, bakery and pastry shop. Also a laundry shop, newsagents, bars and restaurants are within 250mts. Also close to Pestana Golf Course, Gramacho Golf course and Pinta Course, 3 fantastic golf courses located approximately 4km away.

Nearest beaches: Pintadinho, Caneiros and Praia Grande.

Local area

One of the last remaining unspoilt fishing villages, Ferragudo enjoys all the traditions that the Algarve has to offer. Ferragudo is a wedding cake confection of narrow cobbled sreets and steps. Whether sitting having a drink in "the Square" whilst watching the old fishermen trading tales from the high seas, or simply relaxing on the uncrowded golden beaches, Ferragudo offers a peaceful haven from the stresses of modern life.

Behind the Square in Ferragudo lies a labyrinth of old cobbled alleyways meandering up the hill to the town's church from where panoramic views extend over the estuary to the famous 17 century fort.

A selection of fine seafood restaurants line the Ferragudo harbour front often visited by the rich and famous who moor up their boats in the harbour and "pop in" for a spot of lunch. Here you can watch your chosen seafood prepared and cooked on an open barbeque whilst watching the local fishermen bringing home their catch of the day. These restaurants are situated in a super position to sit and watch the beautiful evening sunset over Portimao whilst enjoying a glass of chilled local wine.

Notes on prices

An additional cleaning/laundry fee of £65 applies to all bookings. Weekend golf breaks are welcome. Any bookings taken outside the UK are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.

Booking notes

1 week minimum stay. A minimum stay of 2 weeks per booking is required in July and August. Possibilities of long term rentals at most two months,
during the months between November and February.

Available for New Year’s Eve stopovers with special conditions and prices.

£100 deposit (non refundable) per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival.

Check-in is at 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Saturday to Saturday bookings are preferred, but may make exceptions, please enquire directly regarding this.

Security deposit

In addition, a separate £150 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable, providing there is no damage during your stay.
