Resort details

Close to the amenities  of La Tercia village,  La Tercia Golf Resort in Murcia a superb 9 hole golf course. There are numerous children's play areas on the resort for all to use, The brand new club house is open daily offering a Tapas bar for light meals. There is a local spar shop and sports bar with a pool table, a world-class bowling green to service the apartments and villas with pools on site. Tennis and basket balll courts. The sports bar offers meals all day and also has WIFI access. In the near by La Tercia village there are two local small supermarkets, cafe bar, local Spanish restaurant and bar and a bakery.

Sucina (10 mins away) is a small Murcian village with more shops. There is a mini-supermarket that stocks English products should you require some familiar items. There are several banks, pharmacy, butchers and tobacconists. Sucina is a typical Spanish village with Spanish bars and restaurants and small weekly market.

There are more shops, bars and restaurants in Baslicas. Dos Mares Shopping Mall is only 15 mins away, as well as the usual shops, inc. an English book shop, there is a large Eroski Hypermarket for all your needs.

La Torre golf resort is just 10mins away with bars, restaurants and a established golf course. La Manga Golf Resort is 30 mins away with the superb historic town of Cartegena is a further 10 mins.

Local area

The local area offers plenty of activities for holidaymakers looking to rent holiday apartments in Murcia or villas with pools, especially those looking for golfing holidays in Spain. The sandy beaches of the Costa Calida are also ideal for watersports enthusiasts and local sports include fishing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding and swimming. Other holiday activities include golf, tennis, cycling, rollerblading and horse riding. The sandy beaches of Murcia’s Mar Menor are also ideal for family villa holidays as the water is calm, warm and shallow and depths only reach 7m. Walking and cycling is also popular along the beach promenade at Los Alcazares or San Javier and there are plenty of cafes, tapas bars, palm trees and restaurants found along the beachfront also.

Murcia offers the holiday rentals market many wonderful golf apartments and villas with pools for summer holidays, so if you like to spend a few days in the sun by the pool and a day or so exploring the beautiful Costa Calida in Spain, here are a few ideas:

Approx. 20 minutes' drive from the region’s capital Murcia City, which offers fantastic nightlife, shopping malls and restaurants.
20 minutes' drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor, Los Alcazares and San Javier, which also offer many tapas bars, restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets.
Approx. 40 mins drive from the famous La Manga Hotel and Golf Resort. Approx. 2 hours' drive to Andalucia’s Granada and the incredible Alhambra Palace.
Approx. 3.5 hours' drive to Madrid.
Approx. 45-50 minutes' drive to Alicante on the Costa Blanca, well know for it's popular waterparks and theme parks. A local shopping complex called 'Dos Mares' with an enormous supermarket, many restaurants and a cinema is 20-minute drive away.
Approx. 30-40 mins drive to the historic port city of Cartagena and it’s superb shopping complex with cinema and food mall.

Activities

Murcia is perfect for watersports enthusiasts with sailing, fishing and windsurfing on their doorstep as well as golfing holidays as guests have access to the resort's 18-hole par 68 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. There are many other golf courses in the area including Polaris World’s Mar Menor Golf Resort, El Valle Golf Resort, Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort, Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort, Mosa Trajectum, Peraleja Golf, Roda Golf & Beach Club, Serena Golf near Torre Pacheco, La Finca and Las Ramblas. The famous La Manga Golf Resort & Hotel is also approx. 20 minutes' drive away

Guests staying at one of La Torre Golf Resort’s luxury villas with pools or apartments can benefit from a temporary residents’ discount on all Polaris World Golf Courses in Murcia, please ask for details. For family entertainment, this resort is also approx. 1 hours' drive to Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm on the Costa Blanca and many other waterparks in the Alicante area including Aqualandia. Approx. 30 minutes' drive from Torrevieja Aquopolis (waterpark open between 8 June to 31 August).

Notes on prices

The pool and jacuzzi can be heated for an additional £85 per week. The jacuzzi and pool are heated together they are always at the same moderate 'outdoor pool' temperature as there is one heat exchanger.

A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £20 each a week. Additional children's accessories such as stair gates and car seats are also available to hire on request.    A welcome pack for Sunday and late arrivals can also be arranged on request, please ask for details. All bookings are subject to a 130 euro cleaning/laundry fee, payable on arrival. Towels and linen are included. If an additional cleaner is required during your stay this can be arranged and is payable locally. Please note: towels are for villa use only, guests should bring their own beach towels.

Booking notes

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. £100 non refundable deposit, per week is required to hold the property. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. Weekend and shorter golf breaks are welcome at our nightly rate (depending on season) plus a standard cleaning fee. These may not be available during the busy summer season and are limited to 2 – 4 night stays. Check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout can be requested at an additional charge but is subject to availability.  No single sex groups under 21 are allowed. All non UK bookings are subject to a £15 bank transfer fee.

Security deposit
