Terrace has patio table and 4 chairs for eating alfresco and leads out onto small grassed area which opens onto a gated communal pool and overlooks the golf course.

Resort details

Polaris World Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is located near Sucina, 20 minutes from San Javier airport and the coast and 20 minutes from the City of Murcia. Local facilities on the nearby beaches offer a variety of watersports such as scuba diving, yachting, canoeing and windsurfing. Tennis players can use the courts on the resort as well as those on the linked Polaris World resort of La Torre or join in with the range of sports activities held regularly at the popular La Manga Club, which is only half an hours drive away. 

Riquelme is the most tranquil of the Polaris World resorts, with a 19th Century Hacienda which is being restored as a beautiful town centre. Whilst the town centre of Riquelme is being fully developed you can enjoy all the facilities,restaurants,bars at the 4 different Polaris World resorts, all within a very short distance (10-15mins by car) or by using the FREE Polaris Shuttle Bus Service. 

Local area

The Costa Cálida which translates as the warm coast in English is the stretch of Mediterranean coastline in the province of Murcia.
At the northern end of this coastline lies the Mar Menor 'sea' , Europe's largest coastal saltwater lagoon. These waters are very shallow,several degrees warmer and are renowned for having a much higher mineral content than the mediteranean waters on the other side of the La Manga strip.The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a 22 km strip of land called La Manga strip which is a well known area for a variety of sporting activities.

Travelling there

Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, BA fly to Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante Airports at very reasonable prices.
There are several hire car companies based at the airports we can advise you of the best ones to use when booking.
We can arrange for a meet and greet from our agents and a transfer from the airport to the resort for approx 45 euros return (Murcia)

The local towns of San Pedro, San Javier and Los Alcazares offer a huge choice of restaurants, to suit all tastes and budgets.Palm lined avenues for walks along the seafront and lovely sandy beaches with clear blue waters. 

The City of Murcia has lots to offer with its thriving night life, and is only 20 minutes drive away and the shopping is excellent with many shopping malls and retail parks to choose from.

For the children, The New Water park (Terra Aqua ) and Animal park (Terra Natura) promise a great day out for the whole family and are approx 25 minutes from the resort.
