The villa is in a very convenient location that's close to the practice ground, hotel, golf clubhouse, social club and supermarket (all within a 10 minute walk).

The villa is in a great location - 2 minutes walk from the driving range and 5 minutes from the resor centre. All the resorts amenities are within easy walking distance. The villa is on Calle Alcornoque.

The Mar Menor 18 hole golf resort is the first of its kind in Spain it is highly acclaimed as a luxury resort which caters for Golfers and Holidaymakers all year round.
The resort features its own facilities at the resorts community centre (5 minutes walk) include a large swimming pool, children’s pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, , beauty spa, well stocked supermarket, bank, bars and restaurant. Adjacent is the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel with additional facilities.
Local area
Outside the resort Cartagena is the local City, with a mass of shops and also an old port, that still works today, which is 15 minutes away by car. You can enjoy boat trips from here as well as shopping with 2 areas, one within the town and a new mall style on the outside of the city.
Going out for tapas is a real tradition here and is a great way to sample the exquisite gastronomy offered by the numerous well-plenished tapas bars and restaurants.
Travelling there
Murcia - San Javier is the nearest airport to our villa, only 10 minutes drive. All the main airlines Monarch, Easy Jet; RyanAir; Jet2; FlyBE and other charters now fly to Murcia. It can get busy in the main summer season. Alicante airport is an easy drive, just under the hour.

Places of interest
Cartagena : is a historic Roman City. It has a tourist boat that takes you all around the docks of Cartagena, describing a circular route that borders the Lighthouses of Curra and Navidad, the Algameca Chica and the Isle of Escombreras. Tour the town in comfort. Step on board the tourist bus and visit the most important and interesting sights throughout the town. Step off at each stop and make the most of every visit including the Castle of La Concepcion and the Panoramic Lift
Murcia : has lots of cultural and tourists places of interest to visit. Murcia has many fine buildings, including the Cathedral which shows off there excellent architecture. Artistic and historic wealth is on display at the city´s museums, such as the Archaeological Museum, the Fine Arts Museum or the Salzillo Museum.
Lorca Castle : is an entertaining day out for the family. Travel back in time and encounter the roman world. This is both a fun and educational day that both kids and adults will enjoy. There are many things to discover, learn and interact with. Don`t forget to take your camera with you as there are lots of photo opportunities in the castle and the magnificent view looking over Lorca.
Sierra Espuna : Southwest of Murcia city, the Andalucian sierras tail off into a series of rocky massifs, undeveloped and undiscovered. This is the Sierra de Espuna, one of Spain's renowned natural parks, a wilderness area of dramatic peaks and pine forests offering scenic drives, serious climbing and superb walking.
Terra Mitica : is a fun filled day out for all the family and is defiantly worth a visit. It has a range of rides for all the family and thrill seeking ones of the more adventures, be prepared to get wet!!! There are shows and street entertainers throughout the day to keep you entertained. Throughout the park are lots of benches and places to cool down, along with a good choice of restaurants and cafes for refreshments. (Benidorm)
Terra Natura Murcia : is split in to three different area, the Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya, and an area that replicates the Iberian flora and fauna plus a small aquapark with water slides etc. You can take safari type rides in land rovers through the 'African Savannah' in order to see the animals in their natural habitat: lions, hippos and other roaming animals.
Terra Natura Benidorm : is split in to five different areas, America, Asia, Europe, Mare Nostrum and Pangea. Through your journey you will see how the animals live in there natural habitat and discover the people and places. There are also various shows and entertainers along you journey to keep you entertained. There are a variety of cafes selling various foods. Mare Nostrum is where the aqua park area is located, this is open in the summer months.
Aqualandia : offers a full day out for all the family and is one of the largest aqua parks in Spain. It has water rides for all ages. There is a children's water Adventureland that has numerous slides and activities. For the adults there is a selection of more daring rides. Spread throughout the park are pools, lagoons and waterfalls. There is sun beds, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and changing room facilities. (Benidorm)
